Being a DIK season 1
Being a DIK season 1 is the weakest stretch of the trilogy on a pure scoring basis. Episodes 1 through 4 do necessary setup work — rush week, the DIK-versus-Chick decision, the introduction of the romance cast — but the writing leans on sitcom beats and the early renders look noticeably stiffer than what arrives later. Marks come off for slow pacing and a tutorialised choice rhythm. The credit it earns is structural: every long-term route lock in the trilogy traces back to a choice made here, and that load-bearing role excuses some of the slack.
